Yes, there are differences between netbook and a notebook, netbooks are not any more vulnerable to viruses. Many people are buying netbooks just use the easy portability, small size, and for basic research, they are not intended to be very powerful or intense Gaming and video / HD movies, etc. However, notebooks are a step on netbooks, they vary from 13 "to 18" or even 20-inch screen, they are not as easy as netbooks, but they are stronger, they even a similar / better performance than can some desktops. A notebook is for you if you portability but what you also want some muscles: they want a more intensive web browsing, video editing, programming, HD movies, multitasking (eg, listening to music, while some image processing in Photoshop, and talking on MSN all at once ultra-portability), occasionally a gaming netbook for you, if you like, is very lightweight device, you need basic Web browsing, e-mail, MSN and you're on a budget.
