If the new product information to the MacBook Pro worth upgrading to?
I am a high school senior bound for college in the fall and I am design is for engineering and. I have recently traded from my iBook G4 $ 250 $ 800 graduation money and got a 15 "MacBook Pro 2.16 GHz model with 1GB of RAM, 128 MB, 120 GB hard drive space. I just noticed today that it updated the information on the MBP's now, and they begin with 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo's, 2gbs RAM and NVIDIA graphics processors 8600th Not only that, but you get a free iPod with it. Is it worth selling my MBP for the new version? Remember me 'm going in technology and design and I do like to play. Thanks.
I have the exact MBP and I thought the same thing. If I had the opportunity to trade would be worth it. Not really. A cheaper alternative would bo to improve your current model with 3 GB of RAM and made a new Western Digital 250GB hard drive for this Mac ". Also go to engineering school. They probably powerful Macs at school right, and maybe you can network your machine with a different or more Mac's processing power to borrow. Some professional applications have this ability. It is like building a supercomputer with Macs. If I were you I would happen to the new MacBook Pro includes a major upgrade such as Blue-ray disk, flash memory, hard drive, Leopard OS, lighter and stronger body structure, display, better graphics cards and processors, the quad-core or faster way could be better. These are all rumors about the next MacBook Pro technologies. Usually the rumors are pretty close to what gets finally released.
