The Apple ibook’s G3 processor is HELLA SLOW. It was meant to compete with the Intel Pentium II from 1997. I don’t think you could even surf the web smoothly on it with today’s sites like Youtube.
The Dell’s Celeron processor is 6 years newer. I have an old desktop computer with a similar Celeron processor and it performs fairly well with modern web browsing.
