previously owned and it didn't have a width this problem. in even before all applications are running except for Safari. not sure if its a defective unit or its just because of the aluminum housing. had He runs 3 hours tops. take a long time MacBook Pro user opinions. a lot of cases to replace faulty units in which Apple has had. just not sure whether this the case. btw first time with a Mac. thanks!
